Monster Hunter Wilds - PS5

About this product

Embark on the next generation of the hunt with Monster Hunter Wilds for PlayStation 5. Built from the ground up by Capcom using the RE ENGINE, this epic title delivers a seamless open world set in the untamed Forbidden Lands. Experience a living, reactive ecosystem where dynamic weather and shifting seasons directly impact monster behavior and resources. For the first time in a mainline game, become a fully voiced hunter. Join the Research Commission alongside Handler Alma and a memorable cast as you track and hunt in a massive, interconnected world. Master the new combat mechanics: use Focus Mode to highlight weak points and create wounds for devastating Focus Strikes that can topple massive beasts. Carry and instantly swap between two weapons mid-hunt from the back of your agile Seikret mount, which also provides rapid traversal and auto-pathfinding. Hunt solo with the aid of support NPCs or join up to three other players in full cross-platform multiplayer across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Face off against a roster of 29+ monsters at launch, including new threats like the Quematrice and returning favorites. With a target of 4K/60 FPS on PS5 and a promise of extensive free title updates, your adventure is just beginning. The hunt evolves on February 28, 2025.
